Tuesday’s Titles with Nicola O’Neill
The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself by Michael A Singer I first came across this book whilst having dinner with Mel Clifford and Frank Rock, both had read it and Mel was reading it for a second time, so I was intrigued. The Untethered Soul by Michael A Singer was described by Frank Rock as ‘food for the soul and nourishment for the journey ahead’ and it doesn’t disappoint. This book takes you through a reflective and action-orientated journey, in five parts:
It is far from aspirational and sensationalised, it is filled with practical examples of how and who we are, such as ‘the Inner Roommate’ that forces you to ask questions and deal with “The Witness” and “The roommate”. Singer draws you in by asking direct and provocative questions. I find myself regularly returning to this book and just opening a page to read it regardless of the sequence, and it never fails to present positive insights. Enjoy the read. |
