The Harvest Team: Out and About in Recent Months
We are a sociable bunch who love to network and keep up to date on what is happening in Learning and Development. Here is what we have been up to in the last couple of month or so.
Summer Social Day
The Harvest Team ended the summer season, as usual, with the annual offsite Team Day. We started with a very competitive (not mentioning any names) and fun-filled day in the Grand Hotel Malahide, with games provided by Dynamic Events. Followed that evening with some quality time spent chatting and laughing over some fabulous food and drinks.
Podcasts:
In celebration of 40 years in business, Nicola took to the studio to record Harvest’s first Podcast series, the 4 @ 40. Each episode will see Nicola sit with an industry leader to discuss topics such as Building a progressive & Sustainable L&D Strategyand Enhancing Learning and Development with AI: Maximizing Impact and Efficiency.
We don’t want to give away too much now …but keep an eye on our Socials for more info!
Skills Based Organisations “The How To” in partnership with the L&DI and L&D Skillnet
There was an amazing turn out at the beautiful IDA building in Dublin city for the Harvest and L&DI event about “Skills Based Organisations – “The How To”.
Nicola had a very interesting discussion with Ronna Doocey of IDA and Oisín Dillon of Allianz Global about their own journeys, adapting this strategy into their business. There was a tremendous response to the event itself and the upcoming pilot programme, which Nicola will deliver as a virtual programme on October 15th, 2024.
Executive Forum Autumn Platinum Gala Lunch with Ronan O’Gara
Nicola enjoyed another fantastic event hosted by the Executive Forum in The Shelbourne Hotel with Ronan O’Gara – Head Coach of two times European champions La Rochelle, who spoke to a captivated audience about resetting your team in the lead up to a new challenge.
L&DI Awards – Killashee Hotel
Harvest is proud to have sponsored the L&DI Awards for the 18th year running. The team enjoyed a wonderful evening of celebrating excellence in Learning & Development in the beautiful Killashee Hotel, starting with a drink’s reception hosted by Harvest for guests including past Presidents, Fellows, and shortlisted finalists for the Pearse Walsh Award 2024. Nicola proudly presented the Pearse Walsh Award, which recognises an outstanding Learning & Development Team, with CITCO being the well-deserved winner this year. The L&DI hosted a fantastic evening of networking, gorgeous food and celebration.
