IITD Awards 2021: Finalists Announced
The IITD Training Awards 2021: Finalists Announced! Vodafone: Supporting the victims of Domestic Abuse. In 2019 Vodafone Ireland launched a Domestic Violence policy. Since then Vodafone has gained momentum in using their platform to talk about this grave social issue. They continue to educate their people and work with Women’s Aid to raise awareness both inside their organisation and externally. As part of the Domestic Violence policy implementation, they partnered with Women’s Aid to codesign and co-deliver training for their People Manager community to empower them to support a victim of abuse in an incredibly difficult time. Version 1: Pathways – Unleash Your Potential. The Pathways programme was built around empowering and supporting employees in developing the skills and knowledge they need to grow their careers and deliver great service to their customers. Pathways makes it easy for employees to assess their skill gaps and understand how to fill them through learning and experience, both on the job and through training and development. IWA: Irish Wheelchair Association’s Ability Programme. Irish Wheelchair Association’s National Ability Programme uses a holistic coaching framework to support young people aged 18 – 29 with physical disabilities to get closer to work. Their programme engages with all sizes of employers in both public and private sectors and supports them to foster an open and inclusive job market.
